Implementation of photography and Film Classes
for Children
Two programs for photography classes were provided to children for exciting
and surprising photographic experiences:
Hands-on Hand-made Pinhole Camera Program; participants experience the process
of a pinhole camera.
Taking photographs with it, and making prints. Hands-on Digital Camera, children
took photographs with it and making A4 sized prints. In 2019, two programs had
24 classes (25 classes in 2018) were attended 921 children (1139 participants
2018)
Hands-on Hand-made Pinhole Camera had 15 classes, total 643 children, Hands-on
Digital Camera classes had
9 classes, total 278 children. 7 classes were held at primary schools and junior
high schools, 5 at public community houses, 6 at museums and others.
In primary schools, most of the classes were held as afterschool or Saturday
classes, but some of them have
been held during regular classes. 7 new locations, 4 of them had Pinhole program.
The classes were held at primary schools in Tokyo, Kanagawa, Kanazawa, Nagoya,
Yamagata and other places.
